QUINTA HOBBY 2020 PARTICIPATION BASES

I. EVENT DESCRIPTION

Quinta Hobby presents its First International Scale Models Championship, which will take place on Saturday, 1 and Sunday 2 of February 2020, between 10:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. Those modelers who wish to participate and exhibit their models in our championship, will find more details in the following points.

II. LOCATION

The event will take place in the Independence Hall of the O’HIGGINS HOTEL, located in Plaza Vergara S / N, Viña del Mar, a few steps from Vergara Square and two blocks from the Viña del Mar bus terminal.

III. SCHEDULE

The activities on schedule will be formulated according to the applications of the different exhibitors and participants of the event; however, the initial program will be marked the following detail.

  • Opening for stores and exhibitors: 08:00 a 09:30
  • Opening and closing for public: 11:00 a 18:30
  • Local closure: 18:30 a 19:30
  • The schedules may be modified prior notification by the Staff.

IV. APPLICATIONS

To order the application process, this must be done through the registration form found here.

For this, participants must select the different categories available and the scale in which they will participate, with a cap of up to 08 models per registration (participants may make more than one registration per person); all according to the following detail:

  • Registration Value: 6,000 CLP (limit of 08 models per registration).
  • Registration start date: August 30, 2019.
  • Registration deadline: January 10, 2020.
  • Registration requirements: Having made the registration payment by the end date.

V. INSCRIPTION

Confirmation of participation will be made once the entire payment has been received and verified by the Staff.

Payment methods

  • Payments will be received via Paypal, bank transfer or deposit through the account indicated in the Staff confirmation email.
  • In case of bank transfer or deposit, the proof of transfer or deposit must be attached and sent via email. In the case of deposit, a legible photograph of the deposit voucher must be included.
  • Once the payment is made, no refunds will be made.

VI. CONDITIONS FOR PARTICIPANTS

  • Upon confirmation of the reservation, participants accept and agree to comply with the regulations and conditions imposed by the Staff in this document.
  • The sale of food products inside the premises is not authorized.
  • Each participant must respect the marked spaces
  • Any participant who incurs damages to the competing models and is identified, in case of competing, will be disqualified, and must also indemnify according to a previous agreement with the owner of the affected model, prior supervision of the Staff.
  • Each participant must ensure the order and cleanliness of the premises.
  • Sublease of spaces is not allowed.
  • The sale of products by participants or attendees is not allowed; If they are surprised, they will be disqualified and if they are an assistant, they must leave the premises.
  • Comply with the established schedules, this in order to speed up processes and not hinder the tasks of the Staff and the rest of the attendees. It is emphasized not to carry out the removal of the models prior to the established schedules.
  • The schedules may be modified prior notification by the Staff.
  • Consumption or sale of alcoholic beverages is not allowed, inside the Independencia hall (main hall).
  • Drug use is prohibited.
  • The Staff is not responsible for loss, theft or damage to the material. In case of damage, Staff must be notified for support and responsible
  • The Staff is not responsible for piracy or crimes that participants may incur.
  • Any damage, wear or modifications to the property, furniture or electronic equipment will be the sole responsibility of whoever causes them. In that case, the damages must be canceled by whoever incurred them or the store to which they belong.
  • Those participants who do not comply with the regulations indicated and are surprised, may be excluded from the event.

COMMUNITARY RULES

I. Security:

During the activity, there will be security personnel whose main functions will correspond to maintaining general order, access and facilitating transits. Regardless of this, it is the responsibility of each participant to ensure their belongings; In case of theft that is not corroborable, the administration is not responsible for the loss of personal items.

II. Convivence:

Although most of the attendees of the event already have experience participating in this type of activities, it is worth remembering that each participant is not alone, but is sharing with other people in the same environment, so It is necessary to always maintain an environment of healthy camaraderie, even when there is natural competition. It is also recalled that ill-treatment between attendees and abuses will not be allowed, so if we are faced with a situation of this type, participants are requested to report the event and wait for the Staff to take appropriate measures, which they can lead to the closing of the post and removal of the premises. In addition, the rules delivered to the audience will also apply to the stands, unless expressly indicated by the Staff.
